The exhibition will be led by Creative Director/Adventure Photographer Chad Brown, Founder and President of Soul River Inc. This will be a collection of 20 images of the Arctic and of Arctic expeditions, revealing the culture of the Gwich’in tribal community and highlighting their personal relationship with this land and the wildlife that live there. Presenting the spirit of the Gwich’in and capturing the essence of the “Caribou People” and the importance of the caribou, the sacred animal in their existence in the Arctic. The viewer will be immersed in their world through photography and audio recordings, raising awareness and promoting advocacy. Collectively, through broader outreach across urban boundaries, we bridge our conversations, educate, broaden the message and raise awareness from “the bottom up”. We are all stronger together and must fight to support the Gwich’in and the Arctic National Wildlife Refuge.
